Streamline all Submission and Commercial Artwork Workflows

ManageArtworks streamlines all submission and commercial artwork workflows, ensuring seamless coordination and efficiency throughout the entire lifecycle of your artwork.

From initial design and regulatory approvals to commercial deployment and eventual obsolescence, our system provides a centralized hub for managing all aspects of your artwork. This not only accelerates time-to-market but also ensures compliance with regulatory standards, reduces errors, and enhances collaboration across teams.

01

Track all Regulatory Changes

ManageArtworks seamlessly integrates with regulatory and quality management systems to share data. Artworks which are affected by a regulatory change with their corresponding Change Control numbers are automatically routed within ManageArtworks to respective departments for design and artwork approval.

02

Facilitate Text and Cutter Guide Changes

Regulatory changes can impact artworks in multiple markets, requiring text changes and translations. These changes may also necessitate cutter guide adjustments if the text doesn't fit. ManageArtworks' robust workflow system handles text and cutter guide revisions across multiple components and SKUs, with progress tracked via a central dashboard.

03

Print Proofs Approvals

Within a single SKU, the components (carton, label, inserts, blister packs, etc.) may be printed by different printers. ManageArtworks allows defining and routing multiple printers for each component and SKU. Printer proofs can be instantly compared with the approved PDF using ManageArtworks' comparison tool.

04

Link FG code and Material codes

ManageArtworks integrates with ERP systems like SAP and Oracle to retrieve FG codes, SKU descriptions, and material codes for each printed component. These codes are automatically linked to component workflows for unique identification. When an artwork component is revised, ManageArtworks supports different material codes for each artwork revision.

05

Track Artwork status

ManageArtworks assigns various statuses to artwork throughout its lifecycle, allowing users to track progress. Status of the artwork changes across different workflows from Submission process to Commercial artwork process. In the commercial artwork workflow once the artwork is approved the artwork status changes to "Effective," and the previous version becomes "Superseded." If the SKU is discontinued, the artwork status is set to "Obsoleted" or "Retired".

06

Adhere to Regulatory dates

Regulatory changes must be usually completed within 3 months or 6 months, depending on the change. The deadline can be tracked in ManageArtworks as a 'Regulatory Required date.' Once the artwork is approved, an 'Effective date' is set, marking when the artwork is ready for use. This date, sometimes known as the 'Implemented date,' can be immediate or in the future, depending on old label inventory. The actual 'First Production date' is when the product using the new artwork is first produced. ManageArtworks tracks all these crucial dates throughout the artwork lifecycle.

07

Eliminate manual proofing, ensure error-free artworks with AI-powered proofing tools.

Check color separations (CMYK and Spot colors) and layers. Use a densitometer to check colors at a particular location on the artwork.

Check font sizes of text on the label to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

A spell check feature checks the artwork text in over 25 different languages to ensure error-free content spelling.

The system automatically identifies all 1D and 2D barcodes including Pharmacodes and does a verification of the barcodes. It generates a Scan grade as per ISO 15416 and ISO 15415 standard along with all the parameters. It also evaluates the barcode as per GS1 Specification and evaluates the X-dimension and Quiet Zone widths.

ManageArtworks supports verification of Braille on the artwork in 23 languages. It decodes the text on the braille (in any orientation) and also valisates the dot dimensions.

ManageArtworks compares US leaflets in Word and PDF and outputs the differences in each section for easy readability. It similarly compares PILs available in different markets between PDF and Word documents.

Measurement tools in ManageArtworks can be used to measure dieline dimensions and measure PDP area.

Design Artworks and Print Proofs and be compared across individual versions using the pixel compare feature of ManageArtworks.

The text comparison feature can be used to compare just the text alone and can highlight differences in text formatting and casing. Text compare is especially useful when you want to compare Drug Facts text which appear on different number of panels across two artworks.

The system also includes a Print Inspection tool for checking packaging incoming material at the plant QC level.
